At Ulster Yarns, our experienced team carefully selects premium wool that meets the demanding performance requirements of commercial and residential interiors.

By controlling this important stage ourselves, we establish the foundation for every carpet we weave.

The way fibres are blended and twisted together affects strength, resilience and how the carpet performs throughout its life, particularly in busy hospitality environments where carpets are expected to maintain their appearance for many years.

Producing our own yarn also gives us greater control over consistency and quality. Working closely with our colour team, we create yarns that provide a reliable foundation for the thousands of bespoke colours developed in our dyehouse each year.

Keeping spinning within the Ulster Group allows our design, dyeing and manufacturing teams to work closely together, maintaining quality from fibre through to finished carpet.
