Weaving

Our Axminster carpets are woven on our looms in Portadown, where individual tufts of yarn are locked securely into the construction of the carpet.

This woven structure provides exceptional design flexibility while creating carpets renowned for their durability and appearance retention.

While technology plays an important role, weaving is guided by the experience of our people. Every loom is controlled by skilled weavers whose technical knowledge has been developed over many years. Their understanding of the weaving process, attention to detail and ability to respond throughout production ensure every carpet is woven to the highest possible standard.

Every custom carpet is woven specifically for its intended project. Whether it's a hotel guestroom, casino or luxury cruise ship, each roll is manufactured to the approved design, specification and planned layout.
