All of our woven carpets are manufactured within the UK, primarily at our site in Northern Ireland, where design, colour development, dyeing, weaving, and finishing are brought together under one roof. Keeping these specialist skills close together allows our teams to work collaboratively throughout every stage of production. We also manufacture a small portion of our carpets at our second weaving site in England.

The facility has also been designed to use resources more efficiently. Heat generated during the dyeing process is recovered and reused within the Energy Centre, helping reduce energy demand while supporting the development of every bespoke colour.

We have been manufacturing wool-rich carpets for nearly 90 years because we believe it remains one of the most remarkable fibres available. Wool is naturally carbon sequestering, meaning it stores carbon within the fibre itself. Combined with its natural resilience, comfort, acoustic performance, and appearance retention, it is exceptionally well suited to hospitality and commercial interiors.

Our first priority is to prevent unnecessary waste through thoughtful planning and efficient manufacturing. Where materials can no longer fulfil their original purpose, we look for opportunities to keep them in use through reuse and recycling before considering any other recovery route. Today, we operate with zero waste to landfill across our manufacturing site, with recovered wool fibres and manufacturing waste contributing to new Axfelt underlay products through our Recycling Hub, based in Devon.
